Privacy Policy for PODesk

1. Introduction

PODesk: Purchase Orders ("the App") is a Shopify embedded application designed to assist merchants with inventory reorder planning, supplier management, purchase order generation, and CSV imports. This Privacy Policy describes how personal and store data is collected, used, stored, and processed when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

2. Information We Access and Collect

When you install and use the App, we automatically access certain data from your Shopify store via authorized Shopify GraphQL APIs:

• Products & Variants: Product titles, variant titles, SKUs, barcodes, variant IDs, and vendor attributes.
• Inventory Items & Locations: Inventory item IDs, active location IDs, and aggregate inventory levels.
• Order Sales Velocity: Historical order line items and quantities sold over 7, 14, 30, and 90-day time windows.
• Merchant Data: Supplier profiles, wholesale SKU unit costs, purchase orders, receiving logs, and settings.

3. No Sale of Store or Customer Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your store data, customer details, or supplier information to third parties under any circumstances.

4. Read-Only Shopify Sync Safety

During the current beta release, the App operates on a strictly **read-only** basis regarding your live Shopify store inventory and products. PODesk does not push inventory adjustments or write data back to your live Shopify catalog.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

When you uninstall the App, an automated webhook notifies our servers, and all associated store records are scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days. You may also request manual deletion by contacting support at rahimbadsa723@gmail.com.
